ForceDecks Custom Reports and Export Profiles

Skip to section:

Custom reports can be generated from ForceDecks to export as many profile test results as you require. These reports are exported from the Tests page and enable Export Profiles to be created.

Export Profiles are a powerful feature of ForceDecks, allowing control over the following to be exported:

  • Result data;
  • Test types; and
  • Format.

Export Profiles are commonly used to create specific formats to easily import ForceDecks data into a third-party system, or where a user has a specific workflow and/or data format in mind.

Note: To manage a large volume of data you might want to create Export Profiles which have discrete groups of data such as bilateral CMJ performance, CMJ and DJ asymmetry etc.

Export a Custom Report

To export a Custom Report:

  1. Select the profile(s) you wish to export and click Load Tests for Selected.
    1. To select multiple profiles - hold down CTRL and click on each profile
    2. To select all profiles - hold down CTRL+A
  2. Select the tests you wish to export.
    1. To select a whole category, click on the grey bar
    2. To select multiple tests, hold down CTRL and click on each test
  3. Note: Before selecting your tests, you may wish to consider using the test filter to limit the number of tests available in the list. For example, filtering by:

    • Date Period
    • Category

When selecting a group of tests, you can specify what result data and test types you wish to export by creating an Export Profile.

  4. Once you have selected the tests, click Export Test Results.
  5. Confirm your Export Profile* and File Name**.

* Refer below to Create an Export Profile

** The file name displayed will be the same as the last export. Ensure you rename by clicking the " ..." icon to avoid overwriting the existing data file.

Note: If the export includes different test types, there will be blank areas in the export where a variable is not calculated for both tests.

For example:

  • There will be no data on the CMJ rows under the contact time or RSI column; and
  • There will be no contraction time or FT:CT ratio in the DJ rows.

If you think you have lost data, it may be that you have left a date filter – whereby data outside of range set is hidden. Click on the Date Filter to check this.

Create an Export Profile

Before you can access the Export Profile feature, you will need to select some tests to export.

To create an Export Profile:

  1. Select the profile you wish to export and click Load Tests for Selected.

  2. Select the Tests you wish to export.

  3. Click on Export Test Results from the Tests page.

  4. Click the  Edit icon to the right of Export Profile.

  5. This will open the  Manage Test Result Export Profiles window, from which you can create, edit and delete Export Profiles.

  6. Click the “ +” button to the right of Export Profile.

  7. Enter a  Profile Name.

  8. Click OK.

  9. Confirm Results to Export.

You can confirm the contents of the Export Profile by ticking as many result variables as you wish from the drop-down box. The specific result variables are listed in alphabetical order within subheadings:

Performance includes bilateral variables for the take-off phase of jump tests, all the bilateral variables in isometric tests, and those for time to stabilisation.

Asymmetry includes left v right % differences derived from bilateral tests (CMJ, SJ, DJ, Isometric, Land and Hold) or a series of unilateral tests (Single Leg Jump, Single Leg Land and Hold, Hop and Return, Single Leg DJ, Single Leg Isometric).

Left and Right Results include the absolute values for individual variables derived during bilateral or unilateral tests.

  10. Some asymmetry variables from single limb tests do not appear in the list of asymmetries derived from bilateral tests; for example, peak power asymmetries can be determined from left and right single limb tests but not during a bilateral test.

  11. Re-order Output Order by clicking and dragging variables in the list. (By default result variables will appear in the list and in your excel export in the order that they have been ticked).

Edit an Export Profile

To edit result variables in an Export Profile:
