Fitting the HumanTrak IMU Sensors
HumanTrak IMU sensors can be worn on the wrists and ankles to improve the overall accuracy of the HumanTrak system.
The sensors do not need to be positioned perfectly (compared with traditional marker-based systems which rely on precise positioning).
However the sensors do need to be attached to the correct limb and in the correct orientation to ensure data is accurate and reliable.
Fitting the Wrist Sensors:
- Each wrist sensor is marked, 1 x LEFT WRIST and 1 x RIGHT WRIST.
- Attach the correct wrist sensor on the outside of each wrist (like a wristwatch), with the arrow facing toward the hand.
Fitting the Ankle Sensors:
- Each ankle sensor is marked, 1 x LEFT ANKLE and 1 x RIGHT ANKLE.
- Attach the correct ankle sensors on the outside of the ankle, with the arrow facing toward the toes.
