Pairing with your NordBord or GroinBar (Bluetooth or USB)

You can connect to your NordBord or GroinBar using one of two methods (depending what type of computer/mobile device you're using):

  1. Wirelessly via Bluetooth (iOS devices - iPads and iPhones); or
  2. Wired via USB (Windows and Mac computers).

Pairing via Bluetooth (iOS devices)

Turn your NordBord or GroinBar on

Ensure Bluetooth on your iPhone/iPad is turned on

Open the  ScoreBord for iOS app

Log in

Your iPhone/iPad will start searching for devices

If one is found, it will appear as: 
  • NBE-#### or 
  • GBE-####

Tap on the device to pair with it, and you're ready
to start testing!

If the connection is lost, an alert will appear and
data transfer will stop

Bluetooth range is approximately 5 m / 16 ft,
depending on environment

To reconnect, move back into range and select
"Try to reconnect"

If re-connection is successful, you'll receive a
confirmation.

The paused test can then be resumed.

Pairing via USB (Mac and Windows computers)

The NordBord and GroinBar come with a 2 m / 6 ft Mini-USB cable, which can be used for both data transfer and charging at the same time.

[NordBord] Plug the small end of the cable into the
corresponding outlet in the NordBord's orange box

[GroinBar] Plug the small end of the cable into the
corresponding outlet in the base of the GroinBar Head Unit

Plug the large end of the USB cable into your
computer’s USB port

Once successfully paired, the connectivity indicator
on the keypad should illuminate blue.

Open the ScoreBord app (for  Windows or Mac)

In the Device Settings menu, click
SELECT OTHER DEVICE

In the SELECT DEVICE popup, you'll see a "1"
under the available device

Click on the device name ( NBE-#### or GBE-####)
and click the PLAY icon to finish pairing
