How to charge your NordBord

Battery specifications

About your NordBord battery (This is the same battery type as the ForceFrame):

Approximate battery life (from full charge):	100 hours (active) 1 month (inactive)
Approximate charge time (from empty charge):	24 hours
Charging equipment:	Mini-USB cable (2m) USB wall adapter (optional)
Charging methods:	Plugged into USB port of computer Plugged into USB wall adapter (mains power)
Important notes:	Do not charge a device if your Mini-USB cable or wall adapter are damaged. While other brands of wall adapter may successfully charge your device, we recommend only using VALD supplied adapters. Your NordBord will automatically turn off after 30 minutes of inactivity. The battery will slowly discharge over time when not in use
Recommendation:	Connect the NordBord to a power source for at least one full day every month

Battery indicator statuses

Your NordBord battery will be partially charged when you receive it, and can be used straight out of the box. The different statuses of the battery indicator are listed here:

No lights	Turned off / no charge
Green battery light (solid) Yellow battery light (solid) Red battery light (solid)	Full charge Moderate charge Low charge

How to charge your NordBord

There are two ways to charge the NordBord battery (using the USB cable supplied):

A. Connect to a powered computer

B. Connect to a powered wall socket

To charge the NordBord battery:

Plug the small end of the USB cable into the orange box underneath the NordBord
Plug the large end of the USB cable into either:
1. The USB port on your computer
2. The supplied USB wall adapter, then plug the adapter into a wall socket
Turn the NordBord on to confirm the battery is charging
